EXHORDER's upcoming album will feature songwriting contributions from former CANNIBAL CORPSE guitarist Pat O'Brien. In an interview with The Chill Dude On A Couch, EXHORDER vocalist Kyle Thomas revealed that the band is currently in the midst of a busy schedule, with him also recording vocals for TROUBLE's new album, which is nearly complete. This makes it challenging to plan a tour, but Thomas is committed to balancing both projects. He explained that bassist Jason VieBrooks and drummer Sasha Horn are collaborating on new material, with plans to record demo versions in the studio. Thomas, who writes his songs using a drum program, will then review and refine the music. O'Brien, who has been a part of EXHORDER for almost four years, will contribute his own musical ideas, adding a technical and challenging element to the songwriting process. Thomas expressed excitement about O'Brien's involvement, acknowledging his skill and contribution to the band's sound. EXHORDER is gearing up for a U.S. headlining tour, the 'Unforeseen Circumstances Tour 2026', starting in January 2026. The band's latest album, 'Defectum Omnium', released in March 2024, was a critical success, following their 2019 release 'Mourn The Southern Skies'. EXHORDER's unique riff-heavy power-groove style has been influential in the metal genre, and their tour will showcase their enduring appeal.
